Kateřina Vacková

Kateřina Vacková is a singer and double bass player working on the border between pop, classical music and jazz. She is part of  Uthando, Blue Oyster Court, At Ease, KlangWesen  all characterized by a colorful and imaginative repertoire drawing on jazz, contemporary classical and avant-garde music.

She studied popular singing at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague where she studied under Agnieszka Twardoch. For two years she continued her studies in jazz performance at the College  She is constantly developing her singing and teaching skills – in recent years she has participated in the Voice Workshop with Sarmen Almond, certified teacher of Centre Artistique International ROY HART, or in the Popular Singing Technique workshop with Dita Kosmáková, certified teacher of CVT.
