I was born in Kladno, but I have lived in Prague all my life. I started singing around 17 in a class rock band at the gymnasium and I began learning at ZUŠ Štefánikova.
Subsequently, through the teacher Helena Kubelková, I found the rock department of the International Conservatory Prague, where my teachers were Petr Opava and Vlasta Horváth and were I graduated with Judas at the JCHS accompanied by the band lead by Richard Scheufler. Later I learned from Maya Baranová and Hana Pecková.
I played and sang for three years at RockOpera Prague, in the sci-fi musical Ray Bradbury’s 2116 directed by Steve Josephson and the symphonic rock fantasy musical Králové Avalon by Lukáš Pařík. Since 2010, I have been singing with the funk-pop band Klagenfurt, where I write lyrics in both Czech and English and sometimes compose music.
For about 8 years, I have been engaged in drama mainly at the MA Theater (Theatre in Celetná, Grebovka Summer with the MA Theater, Na Prádle Theatre, Werich’s Villa), and as an extern at the National Theatre. I shoot series and films with Czech and foreign productions.
In the lessons, I pass on what was instilled in me by my teachers and what I learned in practice. In the songs, I emphasize the sincerity of the message, its concreteness and the associated organic nature.
For the third year, I am teaching interpretation at the rock department of the International Conservatory Prague, in which I also rely on some principles of Stanislavsky’s psychological theater system acquired by studying with Marianna Arzumanova.
